LENTEN WORSHIP SERVICES AND EVENTS:
Thursdays - Noon Lenten Worship and Luncheon: Sponsored by the Clearfield Area Ministerium, Lenten worship services begin at 12:05. The luncheons will follow immediately. The cost of the luncheon is $5.00. - March 11 St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Joleen A. Willis as speaker.
- March 18 Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Achey as speaker.
- March 25 West Side United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Randy Willis as speaker.
Special Worship Services:
March 28th - Passion/Palm Sunday
- 10:45 am This service will embody the sharp contrasts of Holy Week as we feature a joyous palm procession followed by a dramatic reading of Jesus' passion story found in Luke 23 (directed by Linda Ross).
April 1th - Maundy Thursday
- 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m., Silent Communion in the chapel (a guided quiet time of reflection with Holy Communion)
- 7:00 p.m., It is on this night that we remember Jesus sitting around the table with the disciples observing the Passover Seder. It is out of the Jewish celebration of Seder that Jesus established Communion as we know it in the Christian Church. Come, and sit at table. Hear the words spoken as Jesus spoke to his disciples at the Last Supper. Drink the cup and eat of the bread. Hear the story of the deliverance of the Israelites from slavery to Egypt as Jesus would have told it, as Jesus prepared to deliver us all from the slavery of sin and death. West Side's 2010 Confirmation Class will assist in the Seder service.
April 2nd - Good Friday
- 12:00 Noon - 3:00 PM, Community Worship at Trinity United Methodist Church, Clearfield PA. Worship is held in half hour segments from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. You are invited to attend as much of the services as you are able. Various pastors and choirs from the community participate. The topic is "Seven Last Words of Christ."
- Special music note: Good Friday Service choir rehearsals will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on March 18th and 25th at 8:00 pm.
April 3rd - Holy Saturday
- 6:30 p.m., Saturday "Praise and Worship" in the Fellowship Hall
April 4th - Easter Sunday
- 10:45 a.m., Easter Worship in the sanctuary; a celebration of Christ's resurrection and the meaning it has for each of us!

Saturday Worship, 6:30 p.m. - "Praise and Worship" Service - Held in the Fellowship Hall, downstairs.
Sunday School, 9:30 a.m. - Held in Classrooms.
Sunday Worship, 10:45 a.m. - Traditional Worship Service - Held in the
Sanctuary.
Children's Church is available during Sunday Worship (following Children's Moments) for children age 4 through grade 3.
Nursery Care is available for children, birth through age 4.
