Some high points of this food ministry:

*The food comes already boxed. This means no shortages!

*Everything in the box is frozen so we don't need to worry about determining if food is partially thawed or sent "fresh".
*Clearfield can remain a drop zone. Unloading the truck will be a breeze because all of the food needed for our drop site will be on pallets, wrapped with our name on them! All we will need to do is unload the pallets labeled "Clearfield" and start counting off the items to each church that is participating. (They claim churches can pick up their food in as little as 22 minutes!!!!!)
*GFFA donates $2 per basic unit and $1 per special to each host site.
*The people who formed GFFA were previous employees of AFM, and know the trials and tribulations we, the host sites, have encountered, and are working hard to rectify those issues.
*In the near future each host site will be given a "POS - Point of Sale" machine which will be able to scan food stamp cards as well as credit cards! (These details are still being worked out with the state/national government.)

If you have any questions feel free to contact Ray Olson,Director or contact the Church office at 814-765-9813.
